This article analyzes the music video production of the artist C. Tangana, examining both its typology and its narrative components, discursive codes and transtextual relationships, seeking to find out what strategies are used both in each of the different pieces and in the corpus that among all of them conform to give shape to the particular proposal of the artist. The analysis of the 33 selected music videos reveals an absolute commitment to the music-visual spectacle in which the performative genre coexists with narrative, video artistic and conceptual features. Through innumerable connections to film and the hybridization of styles, formats, conventions and references that define this and other media in the present, these clips make up difficult-to-classify audiovisual pieces in which the artist assumes numerous roles that give him a strong multidimensionality and allow the creation of an own universe linked, to a large extent, to fictions born on the big screen.
