Abstract

Definitely, and despite all the economic and structural difficulties, we enjoy good times for journalism. New technologies have imposed the greatest industrial revolution in journalism since the printing press was invented and has rendered obsolete the modus operandi of both companies and journalists themselves. Today, newspapers with powerful rotary printing machines show them almost as museum pieces; moreover it is difficult to see them many hours at work. How should a journalist be educated in the xxist century? In my opinion, like any other professional: Addressing the root and quality of the profession, ethics, having the knowledge of technique and the rules of the game, everything that has built up the good work, adding the use of the new technology.
