Television Series as a New Advertising Vehicle of Music: Disney Channel & Alexandra Patsavas

Current television series are experiencing a new golden age, with many viewers around the world. Experts and public say that the quality of these TV series, and their scripts, are better than all films shown in theatres. Therefore, it becomes a perfect vehicle for effective advertising that reaches the public getting a real empathy and connectivity. Music industry has been the first to notice it, and soloists and bands give their art to the TV series in exchange for fame and reach the public. We will cover and analyze basic examples of Disney Channel and Alexandra Patsavas. This woman is the most successful music supervisor, in American cinema and television. She has become a new prescriptive radio DJ and decides which music to be in fashion. Her decision has more effectiveness than any traditional advertisement and she has gotten the most successful series become also the most successful advertising form for the melodic art.Metrics
