Ciencia ficción para interpretar la conciencia colectiva contemporánea
Abstract
Lo primero que se hace patente en La pantalla distópica –libro que se reseña en este trabajo– es su carácter de estudio universitario, con todo lo que ello comporta de investigación, exhaustividad y rigor. No obstante, al mismo tiempo, se comprueba inmediatamente la voluntad de la autora por llegar a un amplio público no especializado mediante un desarrollo discursivo donde prima, por encima de todo, la intención divulgadora. Se ofrecen al lector no sólo los anclajes conceptuales que maneja el estudio, sino todo un ameno y amplio recorrido por los hitos fílmicos del género de la ciencia ficción y las últimas claves históricas.
