El libro que firma José María Izquierdo, veterano periodista, bucea en las cuestiones que más inquietan, hoy como ayer, a quienes defienden la actividad del periodismo como función esencial de toda sociedad que se pretenda avanzada.
Ahora bien, en lo que podríamos llamar tiempos de desastre (económico, político, laboral...), las viejas vertientes del debate conviven necesariamente con la nueva realidad que presentan los medios.
Se trata de una recomendable lectura para los enamorados del periodismo, del buen periodismo, se entiende. Que todavía quedan. Y para quienes deseen abrirse camino en un sector profesional no menos turbulento hoy que apasionante siempre.
