About the Journal

index.comunicación is a scientific journal in Applied Communication edited since January 2011. In a strict sense, the journal aims at covering all those modes of communication that, through the vast number of old or new channels of information, seek a pre-established objective, an achievement. We understand Applied Communication as that which is oriented towards an end and is a communicative practice of those exercises and techniques capable of achieving that purpose. The journal will give priority to research work in this area.

It is a peer-reviewed Scientific Journal, which uses the external evaluation system by experts (peer-review), under the double-blind review methodology, in accordance with the publication standards of the American Psychological Association (APA). Compliance with this system guarantees authors an objective, impartial and transparent review process. Furthermore, no Article Processign Charge (APC) or fees of any nature are asked of its authors or readers.

index.comunicación is published in a double version: printed (ISSN: 2444-3239) and electronic (e-ISSN: 2174-1859). All published articles are licensed under Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike (SherPa-RoMEO Green journal).
